2013 has been the greatest season in LSU Baseball history, prior to playing in the College World Series. With fifty seven wins and only nine losses, it's the best record ever for an LSU team landing in Omaha.  The Tigers left this morning for the College World Series in Omaha.

LSU left Baton Rouge at about 7:45am, arriving in Omaha about 11am.  LSU is practicing this afternoon at Bellevue East High School.

The SEC Champions won’t play until Sunday night, 7pm against UCLA. Aaron Nola will start that game for the Tigers.

Pre-game coverage on Sunday will start at 6:30pm here on 1130 the Tiger.
