LSU’s Alex Bregman Wins Shortstop of the Year Award

The College Baseball Hall of Fame announced that LSU freshman Alex Bregman is the winner of the 2013 Brooks Wallace National Shortstop of the Year Award.

Bregman was presented with the Award Saturday night in Lubbock during the College Baseball Hall of Fame’s Night of Champions.

The prestigous award goes along with the hardware he's already won including, SEC and National Freshman of the Year Awards, All-American selection, and the Freshman Hitter of the Year Award.
