The Pilots' Ben Suit was on the mound to take on the SCAC division champion Gents.

After the first half inning of play, Suit already had a cushion when his team put together a three run top of the 1st inning.

Outfielder K.J. Semien brought home a run on his RBI double. Then, the next batter Brandon Cooksey launched a two run home run out of the ballpark.

Gents starting pitcher Novak was out of the game after the second inning.

In the top of the 3rd inning, the Pilots added one more run to the scoreboard when Kyle Pearson hit a solo home run to left. That made the score 4-0.

In the top of the 4th and 5th innings, the Pilots added two more runs in each innings. That made the score 8-0.

The Pilots would add two more in the top of the 7th to have a 10-0 lead over the Centenary Gents.

In the bottom of the 8th, the Gents were able to get two runners to cross home plate off of Pilots' reliever Rory Young. The score was now 10-2, the score in which the Pilots would win.

The Pilots' K.J. Semien, Kyle Pearson, Kym Barthel, and Manny Estrada all had extra base hits in this game.

During the pregame ceremonies, Centenary's Craig Littleman's girlfriend threw out the first pitch. Little did she know that Littleman had a ring in his back pocket. After the pitch was thrown, Littleman got down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend.

The Pilots (32-15) travel to Muskogee, Oklahoma to face the No. 24 Bacone Warriors this weekend.

The Gents (24-10), who have already claimed the SCAC division crown face the University of Dallas Crusaders Friday at 1 p.m.
