The Centenary Gents were forced to win two games Sunday afternoon against No. 7 seeded Trinity University.

Trinity was too much for the Gents.

Trinity's Zac Speer (8-0) limited Centenary (26-15) to only three runs en route to their 9-3 victory and SCAC Championship.

Centenary's Tyler Clakely and Marc Martinez each had two hits, in part of the Gents' eight hits on the afternoon.

Martinez drove in a run in the bottom of the 6th inning, to send home Craig Littleman. Clakely drove in two runs following his triple in the bottom of the 9th inning.

Gents starting pitcher Cole Thompson (5-2) was tagged with the loss, as he only survived 2/3 of the first inning after Trinity scored two early runs.
