NATCHITOCHES -- Tuesday’s game between the Northwestern State baseball team and LSU has been postponed until Thursday afternoon at 3 o’clock due to icy roads that caused dangerous travel conditions.

The Lady Demon softball team will still host LSU at 1 o’clock on Tuesday at the Lady Demon Diamond.

Tickets to Tuesday’s baseball game will be honored on Thursday, and anyone who has a game ticket will be admitted at no charge to the NSU basketball doubleheader versus Central Arkansas in Prather Coliseum. The baseball game was originally slated for 7:00 on Tuesday, but the threat of winter weather after nightfall forced a time change.

LSU has a game against Sacred Heart scheduled for Wednesday at 6:30, and NSU does not have another game until the meeting with LSU.

This weekend, Northwestern State will host a three-team event that features NSU, Chicago State, and McNeese State that starts on Friday at 6:30. The Demons will play four games on the weekend two apiece against CSU and MSU.
