Geek'd Con, Shreveport's comic con, is August 17th-19th, 2018 at the Shreveport Convention Center. The lineup includes WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley, the voice of Jack Skellington (Chris Sarandon), the first woman to ever portray Supergirl Helen Slater, and MTV's Bam Margera. Tickets and full lineup are at GeekdCon.com

Geek'd Con is almost upon us, and this year's show is going to be amazing! Huge guests, great vendors, and some of the best fans in the world.

But even with all of this great stuff going for us, there are still people on the fence about buying tickets. So we're here to help. The first thing that we'd like to point out, is that compared to other "comic con" style events in the region, Geek'd con is SUPER affordable. Weekend Passes for Geek'd are only $25, which is at least HALF of what a SINGLE DAY ticket can cost you in Dallas, New Orleans, or Houston. Even compared to smaller shows in Shreveport and Bossier City, Geek'd Con tickets are cheaper, with some smaller shows charging as much for a single day pass as Geek'd charges for a whole weekend.

If that's not enough to help convince you, check out some of these crazy things you can buy on Amazaon.com that are more expensive:

That's right. This bad boy will cost you $24.95 on Amazon. Which is $5 more than a Saturday Pass to Geek'd Con, and basically the same price as a full Weekend Pass!

First of all, this better be the greatest jump rope ever. Second, for the price tag of this bad boy you can buy 3 Saturday Passes, or 2 Weekend Passes to Geek'd Con, and have change left over!

So...fake meat in a can. It's real, and it's expensive. For 12 cans of meatless meat, you could get 3 Saturday Passes, or 2 Weekend Passes to Geek'd Con, plus enough money left over to buy a real hamburger.

Is Navage Latin for "Water Boarding"? Because this thing looks evil. I see the goofy video ads for it, and I laugh every time. But then I remember that these videos have been going for years, meaning someone is out there buying these and using them. For the price of this bad boy, you can get 4 Saturday Passes to Geek'd Con, or 3 Weekend Passes, and you'd still have money left over on both.
