This Comic Artist Brings His Creepy Work to Shreveport
Shreveport's comic con, Geek'd Con, is coming back to Downtown Shreveport this August. The 2024 Geek'd Con will take place August 16th, 17th, and 18th, at the Shreveport Convention Center.
Tickets for this year's Geek'd Con are available right now. You can get yours here.
The guest lineup will include horror movie icon Tony Todd, Scrubs star John C. McGinley, the voice of Master Chief Steve Downes, award winning actor Billy Zane, the voice of Mickey Mouse Bret Iwan, and many more incredibly talented celebrities.
In addition to movie stars and voice actors, Geek'd Con always features some great comic book creators. This year, one of those creators is William Russell, the man behind some of the creepiest covers in recent memory.
William Russell is a professional published artist and creator that has done cover art for over 100+ comics in the past five years. His work spans a variety of genres and publishers, from Image Comics, to Dynamite Comics, to many independent titles.
Books such as Department of Truth, Ice Cream Man, Stray Dogs, Vampirella, Ferryman and many more.
In addition to his cover work, he is also the creator of the independent comic book series "Psycho Sal."
Come meet William, and all the other comic book talent, at Geek'd Con this year.
