WWE Legend Trish Stratus Coming to Geek’d Con in Shreveport
Geek'd Con is Shreveport's biggest comic and pop culture event, and it will return this August for the show's 5th anniversary. The event will once again be at the Shreveport Convention Center in Downtown Shreveport. This year's show will be on August 16th-18th.
Earlier this month, it was announced Geek'd Con will be hosting a Dragon Ball cast party for this year's event. Now another brick in the show's 2019 foundation has been placed.
This year, WWE Legend Trish Stratus will be coming to Downtown Shreveport!
Trish Stratus was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013, as the youngest wrestler to ever be inducted.
Over Trish's wrestling career, she hold's the WWE record for most Women's Championships as a 7-time Women's Champion. She was also one of only 4 women to ever hold the WWE Hardcore Championship. In addition to titles, she is a three-time "WWE Babe of the Year", and was proclaimed "Diva of the Decade" in 2003.
Pro Wrestling Illustrated named her the Woman of the Year in 2002, 2003, 2005,and 2006. They also named her the Woman of the Decade for 2000-2009.
Trish has appeared in 25 WWE video games, more than any other female wrestler ever.
She was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013, as the youngest member in its history.
In 2018, Trish returned to WWE, participating in the 2018 Women's Royal Rumble; a tag-team match at the first ever all women's pay-per-view, WWE Evolution along with Lita against Mickie James and Alicia Fox; and a 10-woman tag match on WWE Raw the night after Evolution.
On top of her pro wrestling resume, Trish has appeared in various TV shows and movies. She co-starred in the films Gridlocked and Bail Enforcers. On TV, she hosted The Second City's Next Comedy Legend, and appeared on the reality TV police show Armed and Famous.
