Tigers To Face SWAC Champion Jackson State To Open NCAA Regional

After the LSU Tigers sneaked past the the top-ranked Vanderbilt Commodores on Sunday afternoon to claim the SEC title, we now know where the Tigers will play next.

Early Monday afternoon, Paul Manieri and the LSU baseball team found out they will host SWAC champion Jackson State Tigers in the opening contest of the the NCAA Regional Tournament at Skip Bertman Field at Alex Box Stadium on Friday at 2 p.m.

Along with both schools playing baseball in Baton Rouge, they will be joined by the Sam Houston State Bearkats and UL-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns who will square off at 7 p.m.
