In the final collegiate rankings of the season, Baseball America picks the LSU Tigers as the seventh best baseball team in the nation.

Despite the premature ending to the season, as thought by players, coaches, and critics, LSU put out arguably the best season in program history.

This year's Tigers tied the SEC record for single-season victories with a win-loss record of 57-11. Aside from setting a school record for conference wins with 23.

The hard play on the diamond earned them the right to be called SEC Western Division Champions and claim the SEC overall title.

Baseball America took note of what the Tigers have done this season, and ranked them No. 7 among teams throughout the nation.

If you are curious, the UCLA Bruins were ranked No. 1 after claiming the College World Series Title.
