In a search that lasted a little over three months, University of Louisiana at Monroe president Nick Bruno finds his new man to lead Warhawks' athletics.

Louisiana-Monroe Athletic Director Bobby Staub has announced his resignation effective July 1. Staub has been the AD since 2004 and has had great success at the position.

They became a household name across the nation for the first time in school history, following a stunning overtime victory on the road against the Arkansas Razorbacks. For all their efforts this season, the 'Hawks have been awarded for a chance to play another game: the Independence Bowl.
