ULM Warhawks Hire New Athletic Director

In a search that lasted a little over three months, University of Louisiana at Monroe president Nick Bruno finds his new man to lead Warhawks' athletics.

ULM president Nick Bruno searched for months after the sudden resignation of former athletic director Bobby Staub.

On Monday, Bruno hired former UC-Riverside athletic director Brian Wickstrom as the new Athletic Director for ULM.

Wickstrom, who was with UC-Riverside since 2011, made significant progress to Riverside's athletic community.

He oversaw the upgrades to the soccer, softball, baseball and track complexes. Wickstrom even added a basketball practice facility to UC-Riverside's campus.

Bruno, along with everyone involved with the Warhawks' staff hopes for changes to ULM facilities.
