McDonald's employees across the country and Louisiana are planning to walk out next week over alleged inaction by managment regarding sexual harassment.

According to, the strike will affect multiple restaurants in each of the cities, but not all of them. The workers behind the planned strike say they filed complaints with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in May 2018 citing 'pervasive harassment at several franchise restaurants.'

The strike and allegations of inaction regarding complaints of on-the-job sexual harassment are happening during a time that McDonad's is also dealing with employee and union demands for better working conditions and higher wages.

With all that being said, you might want to plan on skipping the 'Golden Arches' next week and pack your own brown bag!
