LSU's run at the NCAA College Softball World Series came to a end Saturday night, with a 6-0 loss to Arizona State.

The Lady Tigers defeated the University of South Florida earlier in the day, but could not avoid elimination against the defending national champions. LSU's other defeat in the double-elimination tournament came in a opening round game Thursday against California.

A three-run home run staked ASU to a lead they never gave up. LSU's bats were quiet Saturday, as the Lady Tigers managed just one run in two games.

Rachele Fico took the loss, as the Lady Tigers went 1-2 in Oklahoma City.

LSU finished the season 40-25.
