LSU Baseball Ranked No. 9 in Preseason Poll

LSU is ranked number 9 in the 2014 Baseball America Magazine pre-season poll.

Virginia is ranked number one.  Three other SEC teams appear in the top 10; South Carolina, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt at #7, #8, and #10 respectively.  The SEC leads all other conferences with eight teams in the Top 25.

Eighteen letter-men return to the 2014 roster.  The Tigers began pre-season workout on Saturday, they will open the season February 14th against the University of New Orleans in Baton Rouge.
