The LSU Baseball team won 7-3 over McNeese St. (20-22) Tuesday night in Alex Box Stadium.  It's the Tigers 40th win on the season, they've won 26 straight over in-state opponents.

LSU scored four runs in the sixth inning to insure the victory.  The Tigers, as per usual during mid-week games, trotted out a host of pitchers during the game.  Seven Tiger tossers made an appearance, Hunter Newman got the start and the victory.

Third baseman Christian Ibarra hit his fifth homer of the season and 3,104 showed up at Alex Box Stadium to watch the Tigers and Cowboys.

The LSU defense was un-steady again, committing two errors in the seventh inning allowing two unearned runs.  LSU played spectacular defense to start the season, but has committed almost all of their errors in the last three weeks.

LSU plays Florida in a three game SEC series starting on Thursday.
