LSU baseball could have used Alex Bregman this season. The Tigers had a fine season, but it could have been better, or at least easier, with Bregman.

But instead of enjoying the Rally Possum in Baton Rouge, Bregman has been tearing up the minors for the Houston Astors. I'm sure he's comfortable with the choice he's made.

However, any LSU fans that miss seeing Bregman play, will have a chance to this weekend as Bregman returns to Louisiana...even if it's only temporary. Here's the scoop from the Louisiana Radio Network:

"Former LSU baseball star Alex Bregman is back in Louisiana as his Triple-A team, Fresno, is in town to face the New Orleans Zephyrs for a four-game series.

Bregman has hit five home runs and has driven in 14 runs in his first eight Triple-A games and is coming off a three-hit performance in the Futures Game in San Diego."
