Yankees Win on Ibanez 12th Inning Walk-off Home Run

The New York Yankees have just taken a two games to one lead in the ALDS. Raul Ibanez...had a 9th inning game tying solo home run to bring the Yankees back from a 2-1 deficit.  It was Ibanez' first at-bat as he came in for A-Rod who had been DHing.  Ibanez homered again in his next at-bat in the 12 inning to give the Yankees a win in walk-off fashion.

The New York media is sure to be calling for A-Rod's head after an 0-3 with 2 strikeout performance that saw his replacement in the batting order hit a bottom of the ninth homer and a walk-off in the 12th. Ibanez has been coming up big for the Yankees all season long and has written his ticket into Yankee lore with the clutch dingers.

The Yankees now have a 2-1 game advantage in the American League Division Series.
