Former LSU Tiger Tyrann "Honey Badger" Mathieu suffered a devastating injury in the Arizona Cardinals' 30-10 victory over the St. Louis Rams.

It's been a long, winding road to the NFL for the Honey Badger.

Following his dismissal from the LSU football team, Mathieu received the second chance of a lifetime to play football once again. This time this chance came in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals.

It appears for now, there is a bump in the road. Mathieu suffered a serious injury in the Cardinals 30-10 victory over the Rams on Sunday afternoon. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter Mathieu suffered a torn ACL. Later, it was reported by the NFL Network that he also tore his LCL.

The Cardinals will really miss his services, as he was the second-best tackler on the team with 63.

The Honey Badger will have a MRI exam on Monday.
