The Honey Badger is moving on... to the NFL Draft. Tryann Mathieu announced Thursday that he will enter the next NFL draft after having been suspended for the NCAA season with LSU.

In his statement, Tyrann thanked his parents, Les Miles, and his former LSU teammates.  Mathieu also thanked LSU fans for their continued support and said he was working on his personal problems.

Mathieu said,

I am committed to tackling my personal issues and will work to better myself every day as a man first and only then as a football player. I will always consider myself an LSU Tiger.

Before Mathieu’s dismissal, he was projected to be a 2nd or 3rd round draft pick.  Early projections now have him a 3rd or 4th round selection.
