A few stories have been surfacing this week about changes within the LSU football coaching ranks, and what it could mean for future recruiting. Some of the "insider" rumblings say that some Louisiana schools, and recruits, are not happy with the recent moves made by Coach Ed Orgeron.

Last night, it appeared that there might be some truth to those rumblings and rumors.

One of the highest rated players in the country, and the top uncommitted recruit in the state of Louisiana is right here in the Shreveport-Bossier area. Parkway wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. is a 5-Star recruit according to most college recruiting publications (like MaxPreps and 247sports) for the 2018 class, and his quarterback at Parkway Justin Rogers is one of the highest ranked recruits in the state as well. According to 247sports, Rogers is the highest rated quarterback in Louisiana in the class of 2018.

So it might be concerning for the LSU Football Program to see these Tweets from last night:

Another odd twist to this, is that 5 of the Top 25 recruits in Louisiana from the class of 2018 have already committed to an out-of-state school that you might not expect. The Kansas Jayhawks have locked down Devonta Johnson (#3 recruit in the state) and Corione Harris (#5 recruit in the state) from Landry-Walker in New Orleans, JaMarr Chase (#9 recruit in the state) and Aaron Brule (#25 recruit in the state) from Archbishop Rummel in Metairie, and Anthony Williams (#14 recruit in the state) from Hahnville (all of these ranks coming from 247sports.com).

So what is to say that Rogers and Marshall Jr aren't looking to join this huge 2018 Recruiting Exodus to Kansas? Perhaps the two will be a package deal that one school will win the sweepstakes on, but maybe not. There area  lot of questions to be asked right now, so instead, let's work in what we know.

So, what we know right now, the two top recruits in the Shreveport area are looking to leave the state lines for their football futures.
