The remnant low of what was once Tropical Depression Lee continues to spin northward over Mississippi, however its effects are being felt over a much larger area along the Gulf Coast.
This remnant low will continue to shift east-northeast Monday, interacting with a frontal boundary to wring out heavy rain from Mississippi to the southern Appalachians. Tuesday and Wednesday, lingering heavy rain will soak the Appalachians and parts of the Mid-Atlantic States.
