Traffic Street Construction In Bossier City Is Complete

Not a moment too soon, the portion of Traffic Street in Bossier City near the Boardwalk that was under construction since February is now open!

Bossier City Spokesman Mark Natale said, "Workers opened the roadway over the weekend". When the project began, the original intent was for one lane of traffic in each direction to remain open.

City engineers and the project contractor decided to shut down the area completely, which enabled them to finish the work about seven months ahead of schedule.

Natale went on to say,  The considerably wider roadway is expected to help alleviate traffic on I-20, and around the casinos and the Louisiana Boardwalk".
