Large Grassfire Near GM Plant In Shreveport [VIDEO-PHOTOS]

A lot of smoke could be seen in the skies Tuesday afternoon above West Shreveport  due to a grass fire near the GM plant.  The fire actually spread onto a portion of the GM plant property.

At this time of this writing, the cause of the fire was unknown, but crews were on scene gaining control over the fire.

There is a possibility that this is the same fire that emergency crews responded to and controlled earlier today. We will post more details here as they become available.
