This week the Tigerbait Tailgate is ready for another game against Ole Miss. LSU fans who want to make a dish that rubs it in against the Tigers' opponent can make this quick and easy dish. Ole Miss' mascot is the Rebel... and you're wondering, what does that have to do with "Monkey Bread?" Now, follow me here...

An Ole Miss doctor in 1964 was the first to make an animal to human transplant when he put the heart of a chimpanzee into a human.  Sooo.... let's have some MONKEY BREAD!!!

Here's what you'll need...

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon (or more, to taste)
  • 4 cans biscuits (or 4 cans of whoop ass... whatever you can find)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • More cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. Maple syrup
  • 1 stick butter

Here's how to make it....

Place 1 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon in a plastic bag. Cut biscuits into quarters. Place in bag and shake well. Put in slightly greased Bundt pan. Bring to a boil the remaining ingredients. Pour over top of biscuits in Bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Slap it on a plate and enjoy while LSU beats them Rebels!!!
