‘Thomas Jefferson’ Recites the Declaration on Independence Day
A local man who's known for dressing up as Thomas Jefferson and reciting the Declaration of Independence will be doing so several times on July 4.
On the heels of a recitation he'll be doing at 1 p.m. today in the big meeting room of Shreve Memorial Library on Captain Shreve Drive, Ken Krefft has five planned stops on Independence Day:
10 a.m. - Strawn's Eat Shop, 125 Kings Highway in Shreveport
1 p.m. - Cane River Pavilion, Cane River in Natchitoches
3 p.m. - Academy Sports, 140 E. Bert Kouns in Shreveport
3:45 p.m. - Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, 100 Bass Pro Drive (Louisiana Boardwalk) in Bossier City
4:20 p.m. - KTBS-TV 3 Festival, Clyde Fant Parkway by the Red River in downtown Shreveport
Krefft also has two recitations planned for Friday, July 16:
1 p.m. - Shreve Memorial Library, 1212 Captain Shreve Drive in Shreveport
2 p.m. - Azalea Estates, 516 E. Flournoy-Lucas Road in shreveport
