The Barksdale Bubble is Just Showing Off at This Point [PHOTO]
Recently, I stumbled across an astonishing look at our favorite Shreveport-related conspiracy theory: The Barksdale Bubble.
Now, before we dive into the newest piece of Barksdale Bubble imagery, let's talk about the Bubble itself. When it comes to theories surrounding the Barksdale Bubble, I've heard them all, and still have no clue exactly what the heck is going on in our skies. Surely, by now, you're aware of the Barksdale Bubble effect. Heck, anyone who has spent more than a week in Shreveport-Bossier has surely seen the Barksdale Bubble in action on their radar apps.
So, what is it? What is making storms disappear as they make their way through Shreveport? Some truly believe that Barksdale Air Force Base, one of the most important military bases in America, actually possesses and operates a device that can manipulate the weather. Others believe the phenomenon has something to do with all of the concrete found at Barksdale.
One meteorologist and an investigative reporter even debunked the conspiracy with an awesome story that you can find HERE.
Not a week goes by where I don't get tagged in something Barksdale Bubble-related on Facebook. Generally, the photos I get tagged in are screenshots of someone's radar app showing the Bubbled doing its thing.
Earlier, I stumbled across an awesome Barksdale Bubble image from a few months back. I guess it's gone viral for the second time on Facebook, and I have no clue how I missed it the first time around.
