Shreveport is hosting the nation's best collegiate wakeboarders and wake-skaters this weekend, as they compete in the 2013 USA Wakeboard Collegiate Nationals. You'll be able to get down to the Red River today, Saturday and Sunday and see some amazing athletes.

The region’s best colleigiate wakeboarders will be in Shreveport Bossier this weekend when the 2012 USA Wakeboard South Central Regionals launch on the Red River Saturday and Sunday. The competition will take place out of Riverview Park.

Amazing weather is on tap for the 2012 Bass Master Classic here in Shreveport all weekend long on the Red River.  It begins today and lasts through Sunday.  The forecast for today is sunny skies with a high near 63.  Mostly clear tonight with a low around 35.  Sunny again tomorrow with a high near 64, with partly cloudy tomorrow night and a low of 38.  Sunshine returns on Sunday with a high of 65.

Shreveport's The Red River will be home to the Super Bowl of bass fishing tomorrow,  The 2012  Bass Master Classic.  Anglers are already here, where they've been practicing.  There are 49 anglers from five circuits and 22 states.  Here's the roster for this year's super fishing event:
