The Louisiana House of Representatives will debate high school sports playoffs, the split between public and private schools, and the funds to support the LHSAA.

Saturday, December 21 at 1 p.m., all of the best high school football players from all over the state of Louisiana will take over the Independence Stadium turf for the East-West All-Star Game. Players of local interest to those who will be playing at major colleges will be participating in the game.

Northwest Louisiana will send 5 teams to the state football championships starting Thursday at the Mercedes Benz Superdome.
