Congratulations to the North Caddo girls basketball team, The lady rebels brought home the Louisiana 2A state championship with a win in Lake Charles on Friday night.

The North Caddo girls went into the tournament as the top seed and many expected them to do well. The North Caddo boys however, are the 28 seed in Class 2A and continue to upset opponents. The Rebels, the lowest seed remaining in any classification, put out #13 St. Thomas Aquinas on Friday with a 72-45 win and that sends them to the final four in lake Charles. North Caddo will play No. 1 seed Riverside in the semis on Thursday at 1 p.m.

Huntington Goes Down in 4A Quarters

In 4A, Huntington’s run came to an end with a quarterfinal loss to East Jefferson.

Bossier Bearkats Still Alive in 3A

But Bossier is still alive in 3A, they collected their second straight one point victory Friday. The Bearkats are off to Lake Charles and will face University Lab in the 3A semis Thursday night.
