Starbucks Set To Return To Shreveport’s West Side

Well, caffeine fans in Shreveport have something to look forward to as we start 2023. According to Yahoo! News, Starbucks is set to return to Shreveport's west side.

We say "returns" because there was a Starbucks location on Shreveport's west side a few years back. That location was at 6730 Pines Road, but has been closed for some time now. Leaving the busy area just off I-20 without the warmth of a cup of Starbucks for years.

But all that will be changing soon, as Starbucks will be opening a new location, just down from the previous location. The new Starbucks will reportedly be opening at 6215 Greenwood Road in Shreveport.

According to various reports, Starbucks already held a groundbreaking ceremony at the location. However it doesn't sound like there's a timetable on when the new location will be open.

Shreveport does have multiple Starbucks locations already. Not counting those inside other stores (like inside Target), Starbucks can be found across Shreveport, like on Line Avenue, inside the Kings Crossing Shopping Center on Youree Drive, and on the West Bert Kouns Industrial Loop. There will soon be another standalone Starbucks in Shreveport, as the location on East Kings Highway will be able to open in the near future.

Shreveport isn't alone when it comes to the additions of new coffee joints. Bossier City will also be getting a new spot, as CC's Coffee Shop will be heading to North Bossier soon.
