Shreveport Police Make Arrest in Domestic Violence Case

Shreveport Police have made an arrest following a domestic dispute call near Clyde Fant Parkway and Shreveport Barksdale Highway. Responding officers found a male victim that had been struck by a vehicle several times.
The victim told police his girlfriend, Leasia Williams chased him with her car after a discussion between the two, then intentionally ran over the victim several times.
Williams was taken in for questioning, then subsequently arrested by Shreveport Police, and now faces Attempted 2nd Degree murder charges. The victim's injuries are currently classified as serious. No further details are available as the investigation is still ongoing.
