A not-so-slick thief has been caught on camera stealing a bag of cash from a local bar.

The man can be seen hovering around a window outside of Ernie's Bar in Shreveport. After scanning the small area around him for a couple of seconds, the man can be seen taking the bag of money and walking away.

Once the man starts to flee the scene, the video shows that the bar's security guard was right behind the man the whole time. The bar, in their post about the theft, named the man as Emanuel Bass. Employees at Ernie's were able to identify the man, because they scan the IDs of all patrons upon entering the bar.

If you or anyone knows the whereabouts of this brazen thief, please contact local law enforcement with the information.

After the pandemic, we as a community are lucky to have places to keep us entertained and social. Stealing from a local business that is lucky to still be open post-pandemic is a low move. Hopefully the police will catch up with the man in the video, and the bar will get their money back.
