The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for several parts of northwest Louisiana.

This includes Webster, North Central DeSoto, Eastern Caddo, Southwest Claiborne, Bienville and Bossier Parish.
This warning is in effect until 8am this morning.
Strong storms are moving from near Benton to Bossier City and through Stonewall.

60mph wind gusts have also been reported.

Radar indicates numerous trees have been knocked down across East Texas and Northwest Louisiana.
There have been some reports of damage to roofs, siding and trees.

Strong storms are moving into Northwest Louisiana. The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning including Shreveport LA, Bossier City LA, and Vivian until 7:15AM.

The storms roared through Northeast Texas this morning. A possible tornado touchdown has been reported in the Marshall area near I-20 and Highway 59, but that report is not confirmed.
