New Orleans Pelicans Unveil New Logo

Two words... ANGRY BIRDS!  Check out the new logo for the New Orleans Hornets Pelicans!

The teams website points out a few things on the logo...

• The lettering in the logo was inspired by street signs in the French Quarter.
• The team will retain the Fleur-de-lis in the main logo and alternate logos.
• The blue in the logo represents the state of Louisiana.
• The gold represents the glittery nature of the city of New Orleans.
• And the red... well, they chose the red color because it's scary!!
