This wasn't just some guy asking his buddies who they thought was the angriest. The team at VegasInsider went full-on data mode. They analyzed a staggering 9.4 million Reddit comments from 154 different team subreddits. That's a lot of hot takes.

They covered all the major leagues: NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and MLS. Using sentiment analysis, they scanned every comment to see if the emotional tone was positive, negative, or just neutral. They also tracked profanity, but the negativity score is what really stands out.

Time to rip the band-aid off...the New Orleans Pelicans fanbase was named the 2nd Most Negative Fanbase in ALL OF SPORTS. According to the data, a whopping 30.113% of all comments from Pels fans were classified as negative.

That means almost one out of every three comments posted online about the team is just...miserable. You have to wonder what's driving it...is it the constant injury news? The playoff heartbreaks?
