LSU’s Aaron Nola Named SEC Pitcher of the Week… Again!

LSU ace Aaron Nola has been named SEC Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season after firing his fourth straight complete game on Friday, a four hit shut out against #19 Florida.

Nola is 9-0 on the season with a 1.92 ERA and leads the SEC with 93 strikeouts in 89 innings.

The Sophomore has locked down the Friday night spot in the pitching rotation for head coach Paul Mainieri.  He'll likely throw against Texas A&M on Friday in Game 2 of their SEC series which begins on Thursday.
