Since January 19th, the LSU-Shreveport Pilots have been riding a winning streak when they defeated Langston Lions 77-71.

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. And on Monday night it did.

In the first half, the Pilots were hitting on all cylinders. Pilots' guard Mark Politte led the way the entire night, as he put up 20 points. But it was not enough as the Pilots were defeated Monday night by the Our Lady of the Lake Saints 109-95.

All night long, the Pilots shot 44% but in the second half they were out scored by the OLLU Saints 62-49.

Turnovers were a huge issue for LSU-S, as they turned the ball over 21 times in the entire contest. Those 21 turnovers led to OLLU scoring 22 points off of the Pilots' errors.

Rydell Harris attempted to get the Pilots back in the game with his 19 points. Brandon Davis tried to get the Pilots back on track as he netted 17 points. Before fouling out of the contest late in the game, Rodney Milum scored 15 points.

The player of the game was an easy decision. It had to go to OLLU's Robert Martinez as he was 11-for-16 shooting for the whole night, scoring a total of 32 for the game.

With the loss, the Pilots fall to 3 full games back of Southwest Assemblies of God University in the Red River Athletic Conference standings. OLLU jumps to 4th place in the RRAC standings and 1.5 games behind the Pilots.

The Pilots will return to Shreveport tonight, and prepare for Southwest University, Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. at "The Dock"
