Ed Orgeron has definitely shown his recruiting talents as the first year head coach for LSU capped off National Signing Day with the 7th rank class in the nation. This years draft class is full of defensive talent with a 5* safety JaCoby Stevens, 5* MLB Jacob Phillips, who surprisingly flipped his commitment from Oklahoma to LSU last week, and Tyler Shelvin, 376 lbs DT out of Crowley,LA. The Tiger defense will be set for the next 3 years and with Dave Aranda at the helm, Tiger fans should be excited for whats in store in the near future.

At the QB position, two young men have signed with LSU, Lowell Narcisse, out of St. James, LA and Myles Brennan from Bay Saint Louis, MS. Both QB commits are 4* players on ESPN 300.

Now, more studs on the offensive side of the ball signed with the Bayou Bengals. WR Mannie Netherly, a 6' 2'' Four star out of Crosby,TX and Racey McMath from Edna Karr are the next Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landy in Baton Rouge.

With the big boys in the trenches committed to LSU makes the Tigers even more scarier with two Texas commits with Austin Deculus from Cypress, TX and Edward Ingram from Desoto,TX.

LSU had a top 7 commitment class in 2017. With LSU landing 23 recruits, 15 ESPN Top 300, 16 Four Star players, and 7 Three Stars coming to Death Valley this fall. GEAUX TIGERS!
