LSU Lands Another Big Recruit For Their 2019 Class
LSU's 2019 football recruiting class got another boost this week, when four star quarterback from Alabama, Peter Parrish, announced on Twitter he plans on attending LSU.
This verbal commitment gives the Tigers 14 commitments for their 2019 class, including this week's verbal commitment from one of the top players in Louisiana for 2019, Derek Stingley, Jr.
Back to quarterback Parish, Tiger Rag Associate Editor James Moran spoke with the Louisiana Radio Network, and says Parrish can run a speedy 4.5 in the 40 and scouts say he’s improving as a passer.
With the addition of Parish to the 2019 recruiting class, LSU now has a total of five 4-star recruits, and two 5-star recruits.
It appears that Head Coach Ed Orgeron is making it a point to recruit Louisiana. In the 2019 class, LSU currently holds 2 of the top 3 players, and are in contention for the #1 overall player (all according to 247Sports.com) in the state, Ishmael Sopsher from Amite.
This comes off a recruiting class in 2018 where LSU landed three of the states top 4 players, including the top recruit in the state, Bossier City's Terrace Marshall.
