According to The Cincinnati Enquirer, the most sought after quarterback in college football this summer, Joe Burrow, is heading to Baton Rouge.

Burrow is a graduate transfer quarterback from Ohio State, and he has chosen to continue his college career at LSU. This is a pretty big deal, not just because he was a highly recruited signal caller, but Burrow will be eligible to play this season, and he’ll have two years of eligibility left.

This wasn't a conquest from LSU to feel better about themselves, Burrow was sought after by multiple other programs, including Cincinnati and North Carolina. He was a 4-star recruit coming out of high school, with offers from West Virginia, NC State, Virginia Tech, Fresno State, Boston College, and about a dozen others.

The move gives LSU four players, including Burrow, Sophomore Myles Brennan, Redshirt freshman Lowell Narcisse, and Junior Justin McMillan. Now all four will compete to be the starting quarterback in the fall, unless one of them decides to transfer out.
