LSU Baseball Wins Series with Tide, Lose Game 3 in Extra Innings

After clinching their 6th straight SEC series of the season on Saturday in a sixteen inning marathon against Alabama, the LSU baseball team dropped game 3 to the Tide... once again in extra innings.

LSU lost Sunday 4-3. Starter Cody Glenn gave up only one earned run in eight innings work. It was the Tiger defense that let them down, committing three errors in the game allowing three unearned runs. It was LSU’s first extra innings loss of the season. The Tigers and Tide played 35 innings over the weekend.

LSU is now 37-4 overall, 15-3 in the SEC. The Tigers plays Tulane on Wednesday, before a three game series this weekend hosting South Carolina.
