LSU Baseball: Two Tigers Named Pre-Season All-American!

LSU Senior outfielder Raph Rhymes and senior first baseman Mason Katz have each earned Pre-season All-American Honors.

Rhymes was voted first team All-American by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers of America.  Last season, Rhymes was the SEC Player of the Year, a first team All-American, and he led the nation in hitting with a .431 average.

Katz, last season, was voted second team All-SEC leading the league with 65 runs scored and leading the Tigers with 13 homers and 52 RBI.

LSU opens the season February 15th when they host Maryland at Alex Box Stadium.  1130 the Tiger is your home for LSU baseball.
