Four LSU pitchers combined on Saturday to give the Tigers their 12th shutout of the season, the now sixth-ranked Tigers blanked No. 10 Ole Miss, 2-0, in front of 9,741 fans at Swayze Field in Oxford, MS.

LSU improved to 30-10-1 overall and 10-7-1 in the SEC. The Tigers have won three straight SEC series and 10 of their last 12 games.

Ole Miss, which was shut out for the first time this season, dropped to 30-11 overall and 10-8 in conference play.

LSU established a school record for shutouts with 11 when the Tigers blanked Lamar on April 9. LSU’s season-high for shutouts prior to this year was 10 in 1996.

On Thursday, LSU took 13 innings to win Game 1 over the Rebels 4-3.

On Friday, Ole Miss evened the series with a 5-1 win over the Tigers.
