LSU coach and rampant self-tweeter Les Miles celebrated a social media victory in February when he surpassed the 100,000 followers mark on Twitter. However, the LSU Tigers head honcho hasn't tweeted at all since February 23. Has Miles abandoned the Twitterverse, or is he just really busy?

One possible reason for Miles' sudden Twitter vanishing act is he was embarrassed from his social media faux pas. It's one thing to unwittingly tweet at yourself because you don't quite get it. It's another thing altogether when national sports sites call you out for it. Heck, if we tweeted at ourselves on the official 1130 The Tiger Twitter page (follow us!) we'd be pretty embarrassed, too.

Another explanation is that Miles is probably pretty busy. We hear coaching a consistently high-ranked, Bowl-winning college football team is a demanding job -- especially when you're the only coach on the team to be featured in color on your website.

But the real reason for Miles' disappearance from Twitter? It probably has something to do with the first LSU Tigers spring practice, which happened last week. That, or he just really likes Facebook. That's probably it.

Hey, at least Miles is on Twitter. Nick Saban, the head coach of LSU rival the Alabama Crimson Tide, doesn't even have a verified Twitter account. Saban also posted his last tweet in 2009.

To put another feather in Miles' Twitter cap, his current Twitter following alone eclipses the Alabama Crimson Tide's official Twitter account -- @RollTide -- by nearly 20,000 people.

So, when will Miles tweet again? We don't know. But we can't wait so we can retweet the heck out of it!
