New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees has already found success with business ventures in the Shreveport area, but it sounds like Brees is looking to expand that business portfolio.

According to a press release sent out this week, Brees will be partnering with restaurant investor Vik Patel, and former New York Giants lineman David Diehl, to expand Patel's Dunkin' Donuts franchises across Louisiana. The release says the group will take co-ownership over 5 existing Louisiana-based Dunkin' Donuts, and they've agreed to open 69 new DDs across Louisiana.

Over the next few years, the group will invest in New Orleans, Monroe, Baton Rouge, Alexandria, and yes...Shreveport.

This isn't the first trip into restaurant investment land for Brees, he is currently an investor in Louisiana-based Jimmy John's sandwich shops, as well as being a partner in the Walk-On's franchise.
