Updated Geek’d Con 2024 Lineup
Shreveport's comic con, Geek'd Con, is coming back to Downtown Shreveport this August. The 2024 Geek'd Con will take place August 16th, 17th, and 18th, at the Shreveport Convention Center.
Tickets for this year's Geek'd Con are available right now. You can get yours here: https://geekdcon.ticketspice.com/geekd-con-2024 and Vendor Booths are still available too. You can get vendor info at ShreveportGeek.com
Geek'd Con has become one of the biggest "comic con" style events in the state of Louisiana since it started in Downtown Shreveport back in 2015. The event has welcomed over 10,000 fans each weekend since the start. It has also brought millions of dollars in economic impact to the Shreveport and Bossier area.
Annually, you can find vendors from every corner of the United States, including states as far away as New York, Washington, Iowa, and California. These vendors will bring items including vintage toys, high-end comic books, brand new collectibles, and plenty of custom artwork.
This year's Geek'd Con will feature a brand new event happening INSIDE, at the same time.
The first ever Shreveport Sports Card Expo will be taking place inside the Captain Shreve Ballroom during Geek'd Con. You will be able to buy, sell, and trade sports cards and memorabilia, while also getting a chance to meet some sports legends.
You will have a chance to meet MLB All Star Rafael Palmeiro, Pro Football Hall of Fame member Bob Lilly, Heisman Trophy winner Billy Sims, LSU National Champions Jacob Hester and Todd Walker, along with World Series Champion (and former Shreveport Brave) Darrell Evans.
Having all of these stars at Geek'd Con gives you the ability to get autographs in person, and also your chance to get pictures with those celebrities. Most celebrities are all about taking selfies at their booths, but they also give you the chance to have a professional photo taken too. Though some of the guests do not do pictures at their tables, and only do Pro Photo Ops.
