Mr. Hoke E. Pokey, composer of the world famous song, "The Hokey Pokey"' passed away Sunday evening at the age of 107.

Not only did Mr. Pokey write the music and lyrics to this fun to sing along with song, he also invented the hokey pokey dance that is stilled loved by millions around the world today.

The reason for the unexpected death of the 107-year-old hasn't been released yet, but insiders close to Mr. Pokey said, "We believe he was just too old to cut the mustard anymore".

Another inside source revealed that Pokey seemed to be in good health and showed no signs of being ill on Saturday night during his Hokey Pokey Dance Lessons Class.

Funeral services for Mr. Pokey were held yesterday afternoon. A spokesperson at the funeral home has revealed that some very strange things happened during the open casket service.

Mourners passed by Mr. Pokey’s open casket as the organ played, you guessed it, “The Hokey Pokey”, and that’s when strange things started happening.
He would put his right foot out, and put his right foot in, and… well, you know.
