The body of a missing Shreveport man was found in a car on Interstate 20.

Ouachita deputies tell KNOE-TV they discovered the body of 33-year-old Johnathan Darden in West Monroe.

Shreveport Police report Darden has been missing since May 7th. Police believe he suffered from health problems that could have left him disoriented. He was believed to be driving an older model hardtop Jeep with oversized tires.

The Monroe News Star reports a friend used the Facebook feature "Friends Nearby" which showed Darden was in the Monroe area.

So far there is no indication of foul play, but the investigation continues. The coroner's office is planning to do an autopsy to determine the cause.
