A Former Saint is Under Investigation for Mardi Gras Incident
The trend of arrests in the NFL has been getting better over the last few years. But it feels like arrests for crimes "of a sexual nature" seem to be trending up. I'm not looking at any stats right now, so that might be totally off, but it just feels that way. Like a perception thing.
Now it appears another former New Orleans Saint joins that perception. Here are some of the details from the Louisiana Radio Network:
"Tyrunn Walker, a New Iberia native and former defensive lineman for the New Orleans Saints, is reportedly being investigated by Lafayette authorities over claims of sexual assault by two women. Not much is known about the apparent probe."
Walker was a member of the Los Angels Rams until this week, but the team has parted ways with him while he's being investigated. According to reports from MLive, the incident Walker is being investigated for took place during Mardi Gras earlier this year.
